When can I use a Personal License?

A Personal License is a non-exclusive, perpetual license that allows one individual to use the purchased digital asset for commercial or non-commercial purposes across multiple creative works.

Please select the appropriate license based on the number of people who edit or modify the purchased digital asset file.

✔️ When a Personal License may be used

1. Only one person edits or modifies the digital asset file.
2. Assistants, freelancers, or other third parties do not edit or modify the digital asset file.

⚠️ Personal License restrictions

1. A Personal License belongs to one purchaser only.
2. The asset file may not be shared, loaned, or transferred to a third party.

✔️ When a Shared License is required

1. Required: Two or more people edit or modify the digital asset file.
2. Recommended: A third party other than the purchaser can access, edit, or modify the asset file.

📌 When a Personal License may still be used for collaborative work

1. Multiple people participate in the project, but only one person edits or modifies the digital asset file.
2. Multiple people edit or modify the asset file, but every participant holds their own Personal License for the same product.

💡 Typical examples

1. A freelancer edits or modifies the asset file directly and delivers only the completed JPG or PNG images to the client without sharing the original asset file or working file. → A Personal License may be used.

2. The purchaser places a 3D background and flattens it into a single image, after which an assistant performs only overall color adjustments or post-processing on that image. → Since the assistant does not access the original asset file, a Personal License may be used.

3. The purchaser and an assistant each import the asset file or modify its models or layers. → Since two or more people edit or modify the asset file, a Shared License is required.

4. Multiple people edit or modify the asset file, but every participant holds their own Personal License for the same product. → The product may be used under each participant’s Personal License.
