Which license do I need when working with others?

Please select the appropriate license based on the number of people who edit or modify the purchased digital asset file.

✔️ How to choose the right license

1. If 1 person edits or modifies the digital asset file → Personal License
2. If 2 or more people edit or modify the digital asset file → Shared License

However, even if multiple people edit or modify the asset file, each person may use their own Personal License if every participant holds a Personal License for the same product.

👤 Collaborative work permitted under a Personal License

1. Multiple people participate in the project, but only 1 person edits or modifies the asset file

2. A team consists of a writer and an artist, and only the artist edits or modifies the asset file

3. The completed work is provided externally only in a non-editable format, such as a raster image

1. Example: A freelancer does not share the original asset file or working file and delivers only completed raster images, such as JPG or PNG files, to the client

4. A third party does not directly edit or modify the original asset file

1. Example: The purchaser or client directly edits or modifies the asset file and creates a completed raster image. A third party, such as an assistant, then performs only secondary work such as coloring or post-processing without directly editing or modifying the original asset file

5. Multiple people edit or modify the asset file, but every participant holds their own Personal License for the same product

⚠️ Personal License restrictions

A Personal License belongs to one purchaser only and may not be shared, loaned, or transferred to another person.

A main artist may not edit, modify, or incorporate a product purchased by an assistant under a Personal License into a working file.

For another person to use the product, they must purchase their own Personal License for the same product or purchase a Shared License appropriate for the project.

👥 Collaborative work requiring a Shared License

1. Two or more people, such as artists, assistants, or freelancers, edit or modify the asset file
2. The purchaser and an assistant each import the asset file or modify its models or layers
3. The number of people editing or modifying the asset file increases to two or more during the project
4. A third party other than the purchaser can access, edit, or modify the asset file
